Glossy dark steel brown and olive with with some lighter reddish chocolate brown in protected areas. LDS. Breen state II, with a large cud break on the left edge of the obverse.

EF40 Olive brown and tan. Some busyness at the rims obverse K11-12. The surfaces are somewhat uneven with light granularity. The detail is exceptionally sharp.

VF 20, but there is very fine roughness under a glossy dark chocolate brown patina. The only notable marks are a small rim dent over the E in LIBERTY and a dull nick in the field close to the throat. M-LDS, Breen state III. The date and legends are bold.

Now in a PCGS MS63 holder. A pretty cent with a great pedigree. Ex. Harlan P. Smith, May 1906-Charles Williams-Harold Bareford-Herman Halpern. This coin brought $8800 in the 1988 Halpern sale. In a PCGS holder MS63.
