Glossy steel brown and chocolate with frosty lighter brown in protected areas. A couple light nicks in the field before the eye and a few tiny contact marks scattered about both sides. Scarce EDS, Manley state 1.0, with the reverse rotated 10 degrees CCW.

Lustrous chocolate brown. Rare early die state. Manley 1.0. Slightly off center, but full obverse dentilation shows.

1808 C-3  R1  EF45+

Choice lustrous brown with traces of faded tan. A remarkably sharp strike with full dentilation both sides. From an early state of the dies. Manley 2.0.

1809 C-1  R4+  AG3

Sharpness G6 but corroded, the surfaces covered with uniform strong granularity. No verdigris or marks. Dull dark steel brown and chocolate. The date is strong and the legends clear except for  UNITED, which is weak. E-MDS, Manley state 2.0. The reverse is rotated 15 degrees CCW. Ex.Tom Reynolds 9/89-Ken Seachman.

1809 C-1 R6 VG10   

Medium steel brown. Surfaces smooth. Not perfect but very nice for this rare variety.
